Day Two – Wentworth to Tibooburra, 600 kms, all sealed. Hang on, didn’t the book say “All sealed”? Packsaddle Roadhouse – a great little roadhouse and pub in the middle of f&*% all. Welcome to Tibooburra. The locals welcomed us and closed a street for an outdoor dinner. Great fun!
Shitbox Rally 2012 – Day One
In April this year Sheldon and I ran the Shitbox Rally, and raised over $7300 for cancer research. My friends will do a better job of describing the experience in detail. Mario II blossoms into life (-ish)
We’ve had a busy month or so preparing Mario II for the gruelling shitbox rally. Preparations have included attending to a leaking rear caliper, and a leaking clutch slave cylinder, replacing shagged swaybar bushes, fitting of second hand rally tyres, alternator mounts, and various other bits and pieces. Sh*tboxes at Spettacolo
Mario Speedwagon II went on display today at the Spettacolo club display day. Two of the other Alfas going on the rally were displayed too, and there was a fundraising barbecue and cake stall.
