Received some fantastic NOS and used parts from Robert Panetta at Manning Motors (Sydney).  Rob is clearly a first class hoarder.  NOS Carello front indicator lenses and reverse light lens.  NOS LH front indicator assembly.  NOS inner and outer headlamps correct Carello for the mk1 1750 GTV.  Those are all going to look...

There were some non-standard holes in the RH inner guard – three for an aftermarket horn bracket, the other four I’m not sure.  They’re now filled.  The battery tray removed, and the expected holes in the chassis rail welded up.  The engine bay will be sand blasted next. Roof is primed to protect the bare metal. The floors have a few older repair sections, but look pretty solid.  We’ll see when the paint comes...

Past Alfas: 1991 Alfa 33 16v Sportwagon

Our 1991 Alfa 33 16v Sportwagon, owned from 2001-2004.  Purchased for £500, it gave us lots of fun motoring around the UK.  It was tidy but not outstanding, was sad to watch it deteriorate sitting out in the weather in London.  It was mostly reliable as well, except each time Fiona’s mum visited and it wouldn’t start – batteries don’t last long in the UK winter.  I learned why you change cambelts on these...
