Fiona’s dad took up the challenge to do the Alfa club ‘race craft’ training day on Saturday, then we double entered the car in the Sunday supersprint.  Lots of mechanical woes – suspension falling apart, a puncture, throwing lots of oil out – but we still had a lot of fun.  The poor old Madame is getting a little tired.  Time for a new engine and a general freshen up I think! The annual display day came back to the oval at Wesley College in St Kilda Rd this year and the oval is in fine condition, which is good because the day started wet.  It soon dried out, although threatened for most of the day.  An excellent day full of fabulous cars, food, and entertainment for the kids – highly recommended.
