For the first time in 2015 AROCA is running race events within our sprint days under AASA regulations. Those of us with suitable cars with rollcages and a AASA national circuit license can compete in proper racing with grid starts and line honours at stake. It’s relatively inexpensive and a nice step up from club sprints. We had a good field of cars, although a couple dropped out before the first race. This left me at the back of the field this time unable to keep up with the quicker 2-litre cars in the mid-field. Need to work harder! Lots of fun though and a good new initiative for the club.
