In the last few years Madame Sud has taken a punishment on the track, most often doing double stints for Fiona and myself. Four six hour relay races. She’s now not remotely a road car, with modifications to suspension, the bulk of the interior removed, and a six-point roll cage and fibreglass drivers seat installed. She still runs the same engine we rebuilt in 1998 and it’s getting tired now, so a major upcoming project is to build a new engine with some more go-go.
