1750 GTV – Finished product 2020
Okay so not a lot happened on the GTV project for a couple of years as we focused on other Alfa-related projects and life in general got busy. The interior fit out slowly trickled along in the workshop in the background here and there during 2018 and 2019. Then suddenly 2020 and the global pandemic gripped the world, and my friend Bruno at Maranello Pur Sang Motors suddenly had a bit more spare time and I wasn’t distracting him...
1750 GTV – Nov 2017
Welcome back to the ongoing slow restoration of this 1750 GTV. This post covers a period effectively from May until now, with not a huge amount of action. 1750 GTV – Feb 2016
Wow it’s been a while since posting any updates on the GTV project. We did actually start to make some progress again mid-2015, when I was able to retrieve the engine and gearbox from storage. Engine as extracted from fifteen years in a shed. I started to tear it down when I had a chance, bagging all the nuts and bolts and keeping everything in plastic tubs. Onto the stand A very stuck head removed using all the special tools...
