Sam is back to work on the GTV with gusto. Finished the RH sill panel, B-pillar, and primed the rear guard. Also fixed a couple of low spots on the roof (which I couldn’t even see!). Working on fitment and gapping of the doors. The door hinges are re-bushed, and a few minor bumps smoothed out in both door skins. Received all the bits and pieces back from the platers. One batch in clear passivated zinc, another batch in black. I’ve spent a couple of hours tonight trying to sort things out and find some key things. I had to order a timing belt kit for the 159, so I got it from EB Spares in the UK. To make the postage *seem* worthwhile, I got a clutch master cylinder and some bleeder screws. A shipment also arrived from Classic Alfa – handbrake cables, brake and clutch hoses, spring hats and rubbers, caliper seal kits, a clutch slave, vacuum hose, a set of splash guards, and some other odds and sods.
