Veloce Racing Winton Nov 2017

It had been almost twelve months since the Madame Sud was out on the track, so I was super-excited.  For another year the NSW-based Veloce Racing Association organised a racing round at Winton Raceway, so we travelled up to join them.  The all-Alfa field of 12 race cars was a support category for the Winton 300 endurance race.  The racing was super-close this year, with 5-6 cars all qualified within a second of each other.  Fellow Victorian Bruno Colautti and I had a couple of great battles.  Unfortunately I retired early in race four due to an electrical problem.

Update May 2018 – found some extra photos via Veloce Racing:

The event was live streamed thanks to Blend Line TV.  The following images are captured from the live stream.

The in-car from race 3 is quite fun to watch, we had five cars all pretty close for the entire race.
