1750 GTV – February 2011 #3

The truth that lies beneath.  Nothing unexpected.

Here’s the right hand side.  This middle sill and B-pillar is rough.  The B-pillar base is bad enough for us to order a repair section, as repairing this will be time-consuming.

The left-hand side is not as bad.  There’s a patch required in the center sill, and the same large hole in the front.  The B-pillar looks okay.

The radiator support cross-member has been removed, Sam’ll repair each end and then weld the new box section in.

Some awesome previous repairs.  The front apron had two layers of plate welded on over rust.  The RH outer sill was similar.

Here’s how the car looks now.  Almost ready to go to be blasted.
