Coppa del Chianti Classico 2010

In October we were on a family holiday, visiting Tuscany and especially the regions around Siena for a few days.  We noticed on one of the lovely drives (shame about the rental Fiat Croma!) that they were setting up for some sort of hillclimb.  We discovered that we just happened to be in town for one of the major historic hillclimbs – the Chianti Cup.  With help from a helpful hotel manager, we were able to at least visit for the day of practice and see some of the wonderful cars.  Alfa GTAs, tens of Minis and Abarth Fiats, Maseratis, Ferraris.  Oh and a couple of sensational Alfasuds.
